JOB DESCRIPTION
As a mail sorter at PostNL in Den Bosch, your job is to ensure that all mail reaches the correct destination. Your responsibility is to sort the mail by postal code and destination so that it is delivered on time and to the right person. It’s a crucial task that makes a difference for thousands of people in the Netherlands.
What will your night look like? You will start your shift between 23:30 and 00:30 and finish by 06:30 at the latest, depending on the department you work in.
Together with your colleagues, you will begin the night by sorting and distributing the mail. This can be done manually or with machines, depending on the volume of mail. It’s up to you to ensure that the mail is processed as efficiently and quickly as possible.
Why you? As a mail sorter, you are precise and meticulous. You spend your time making sure the right mail gets to the right person and you can handle time pressure well. Experience is not required, but it is an advantage.
What do we offer? PostNL offers you a part-time job with flexible working hours. You can work between 10 and 24 hours per week. As a night mail sorter, you earn €19.15 per hour. Additionally, you will receive a travel allowance from 6 kilometers onwards. It’s important to be available for at least Monday or Friday. Working both days is also possible!
